Two homebrewers and an old mill
Fable & Foam started in 2016, when Ella and Jonah moved their garage homebrew setup into the empty grain mill on Old Mill Road.
They wanted a place where neighbors could sit at long tables, try something new and stay for another story. Every beer is named after a fairy tale or a Nowhere Springs legend, and the chalkboard by the bar tells you which one.
Today we brew about 1,200 barrels a year on a 10-barrel system, pour twelve taps in the taproom and host around 150 private events a year in the Barrel Room and the Beer Garden.
What we care about
Small batches. Most beers are brewed once a season, so the tap list keeps changing.
Local grain. Our malt comes from two farms within 60 miles.
Room for everyone. Step-free access, root beer on tap, and dogs welcome in the garden.
